Based in Besançon, the capital of the French watchmaking, John-Mikaël Flaux is an independent watchmaker and a mechanical art creator.
He aims to revisit the world of watchmaking and automatons by giving it a more poetic and extravagant dimension: "La Guêpe" (mechanism in the shape of a wasp), the "Car Clock" (clock in racingautomobile form ), the automaton "the Duel" (a fight between 2 mechanical fencers).
