An independent watchmaker and a professor at Edgar Faure high school in Morteau, Florent Lecomte was fascinated by mechanical watches from a young age. 

He has long sought to understand how they work, and the answers to this question were given to Florent by Mr. Thierry Ducret, professor of watchmaking at Meilleur Ouvrier de France, who taught him all about watches.

In 2006, Florent joined the prestigious Edgar Faure high school in Morteau to teach the design and manufacture of complicated watches.

In 2020, in order to fully live his passion for watchmaking, Florent founded his own watch brand called Lecomte.

Florent designs, manufactures, decorates, and perfects his creations all by himself with the greatest respect for watchmaking traditions.
