The Sylvain Pinaud workshop, based in Sainte Croix (Switzerland), is a complete watchmaking workshop where restorations of old objects rub shoulders with innovative prototypes…because history feeds the future.

It is the heart of my know-how, a place where everything is possible thanks to the wealth of our skills and knowledge. Lathes and milling machines rub shoulders with control devices and other century-old tools. Here, we must be able to produce our components or even decorate a movement before its assembly.

"Son of a watchmaker and having frequented the workbench from childhood, it was therefore first of all alongside my father that I discovered the fascinating profession of watchmaker. Captivated by his work and convinced that it was a vocation for me, it was natural that I joined the Morteau watchmaking school to deepen my knowledge and develop my know-how.

Fascinated by all the facets of this profession: historical, mechanical, artistic and scientific, my passion is only growing.

Once graduated, years of practice followed in discreet workshops and then in major watch manufacturers which then allowed me to forge a solid experience and led me to take a different direction in the practice of my profession.

It is in the Jura mountains that I set up my workshop to practice watchmaking in accordance with my values and my dreams. Relevant and sincere, at the crossroads of art and science. 

Watchmaker but not only… mechanic too and above all craftsman. A universe where the hand and the spirit agree to give the best. Far from soulless assembly line work, I choose a qualitative artisanal watchmaking and dedicate all my time to the realization of high-end watches".
