Tristan Ledard is a French watchmaker who has always been attracted to the manual and meticulous work in watchmaking. He followed the Brevet des Métiers d'Art course from the Paris watchmaking school. This allowed him to do internships with a few great watchmakers. He also had the opportunity to work on an astronomical clock.

These experiences developed Tristan’s taste for clock making as well as the idea of creating his first piece Astro, the first clock with a linear equation of time.

In 2016, Tristan presented Astro at Baselworld during the Young Talent Competition held under the patronage of Swiss luxury watch brand F.P. Journe, and received an award from F.P. Journe.
